Due to an unintended exploit, the whopping 36 GB Yakuza 6 demo is no longer available on the PlayStation 4. The demo, unfortunately, only recently became available and was swiftly taken down. Players discovered that trophies for the real game could be earned while playing the demo. Eventually, players eventually figured out that the entire game itself could be unlocked via the demo. Sega was forced to react by ultimately pulling the demo from the PlayStation Store altogether. We apologize, but have had to remove the Yakuza 6: The Song of Life demo from the PlayStation Store. We are as upset as you are, and had hoped to have this demo available for everyone today. We discovered that some were able to use the demo to unlock the full game. 1/2 — SEGA (@SEGA) February 27, 2018 We’re looking into the nature of the issue. The game will finally make its North America, Australian, and European debut on April 17th.
