Rainbow Six Siege released back in 2015 and despite a slow start, it quickly garnered incredible momentum thanks to new content updates. The recent is Operation Outbreak, which adds 2 new operators, a new PvE mode, and new cosmetic items. However, despite its success, Ubisoft has no plans for a sequel and plans to continue support for Rainbow Six Siege.

During the 2018 Invitational Finals, Ubisoft confirmed this and plans to have 100 operators within the game with a 10-year plan of updates. This may seem strange, but this could just be a rough estimate.

Ubisoft confirmed that improvements to the observation toll are taking precedence and maps are getting some renovations. To ensure a more balanced experience. LAN-based competitions will be happening soon, but there are no updates of when.

Rainbow Six Siege is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
