A new challenger has joined the EVO 2018 tournament, the producer of Dragon Ball FighterZ, Tomoko Hiroki. The news was made official in a video uploaded on Bandai Namco’s official YouTube channel. Hiroki thanked fans for their support for the acclaim fighting game before announcing her entry into the tournament. This has caused some controversy since developers are not allowed to compete. However, being a producer the rules are a bit more complicated. It seems that the fanbase is ecstatic about the news and want to see Hiroki compete but it does raise questions if someone who has had more time to play the game has an unfair advantage. Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
