Earlier this week Microsoft stated that exclusive Microsoft games will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one, starting with titles such as State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves, and Crackdown 3. Games usually rotate each month, with new games added and others leaving the service. However, exclusive Microsoft games will not be removed from the service. According to Major Nelson “In other words: the Xbox One Exclusives will be a permanent part of game pass moving forward.” For those unaware of what Xbox Game Pass is, it’s a service similar to Netflix. Gamers pay $9.99 a month to gain unlimited access to hundreds of games available on the service and can earn achievements. Playing online will require Xbox Live Gold still.
