Sales for the Call of Duty series have made a rebound since Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Call of Duty: WW2 is a huge success only a few days after its launch, and it’s easily beaten the numbers of its predecessor.

Activision reports that in its first three days, the game has currently grossed $500 million worldwide. This figure is based on sell-through to customers, rather than units shipped.

To put this into context, these are certainly solid numbers. Call of Duty: WW2 has sold over double the launch weekend sales of Infinite Warfare. Activision also notes that when compared to recent blockbuster film opening weekends, WW2‘s $500 million tops the opening weekend numbers for Thor: Ragnarok and Wonder Woman combined.

Call of Duty: WW2 also achieved a new record on the PS4’s digital store. The game now ranks as the “best-selling digital full game” on the PlayStation Store, in terms of units sold on day one.

Call of Duty: WW2 is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
