Immortals have added Caio “zqk” Fonesca to their Counter Strike: Global Offensive roster. This completes their CS:GO roster for the time being, as the AWPer has been added alongside Horvy and Destinyy to replace HEN1, LUCAS1 and kNg.

In a press release published on the Immortals’ website, zqk will compete alongside Steel, boltzz, Horvy and Destinyy as the team’s primary AWPer.

zqk has played alongside boltzz, Steel, and Destinyy throughout his career, and has also played with the Immortals’ coach, zakk, during the days of Counter Strike: Source.

Immortals’ general manager Nick Phan stated, “zqk’s spirited hunger and professionalism aimed towards competitive success have convinced myself and my staff that he is a fantastic addition to the CS:GO roster”

The 25 year old Brazilian has a fair amount of experience under his belt, having played with Keyd Stars alongside FalleN, fer, and his new teammates.

The AWPer played in the Americas Minor for Misfits, and then went onto play briefly under the Ghost Gaming banner before heading back to Brazil to compete with Merciless Gaming

My first video game was Tonka Construction for the PC. I played that in 2000, at 3 years of age, and have been hooked by video games ever since. I like to dabble in as many games as I possibly can, but nothing can come close to a captivating story, an intense multiplayer experience or a well made RTS game. In 2015, I found what can only be described as passion and love for esports. Now I convey that passion, love and knowledge through articles about esports titles, most notably Counter Strike.
