With over 7 million players, keeping PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds fair for everyone has to be difficult. According to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developer, Bluehole Studio, editing configuration files could result in a ban. Spotted by Reddit user Defying, when the question was asked whether it was considered acceptable to edit configuration files. In response to the question, Bluehole responded by stating the following: “No, editing any game files to gain an unfair advantage is against the Rules of Conduct. This includes changing any game configuration files to result in changes that cannot be made via the in-game settings menu.” This means that if you cannot edit the settings from the in-game menu it’s not allowed.
