Splatoon 2 will have a new map coming in the near future. However, there’s an interesting catch behind it: you won’t find it entering normal multiplayer map rotations. Instead, you’ll only see it during Splatfest events. The new map, Shifty Station, is quite unusual. With every new Splatfest, Shifty Station’s layout will be totally different each time- making it a truly unpredictable mystery map. This means you’ll need to adopt new strategies and figure out the layout with each Splatfest. Currently, Nintendo hasn’t confirmed if it’ll join the map rotation for this event. It should, however, be revealed during the upcoming Splatfest. The next Splatfest will begin on Friday, August 4 at 9 PM PT/Saturday, August 5 at 12 AM ET. Will Team Mayo take all the glory, or will Team Ketchup pull through and show Team Mayo who the superior condiment is?
