Ubisoft announced today that a For Honor free weekend will be on all platforms starting August 10th. All players will have full access to the game’s content for the weekend, as well as five multiplayer modes and a campaign playable solo or with a friend. You will be able to play with all the characters and all the maps as well. New players will be able to pre-load the game starting August 8th on PlayStation 4 and Uplay. Along with the free weekend, there will be discounts on For Honor‘s standard and gold editions on the digital stores. Players who purchase For Honor will see their progress carry over after the weekend is done. For more details on the free weekend, click here. The free weekend will also launch “Grudge & Glory”, For Honor’s third season and the biggest update so far. Season three starts on August 15th on all platforms. It will bring new heroes, maps, ranked play and gameplay updates. The maps and gameplay updates will be free to players at the beginning of the season. The new heroes, the Highlander and Gladiator, will be free to Season Pass holders on August 15th. All other players will be able to unlock them on August 22nd for 15,000 Steel. For Honor Tournament Finals This weekend will also see the finals of the For Honor Hero Series. This was the first international For Honor tournament, organized with the ESL. Fans looking to get a glimpse at the competitive play can tune into the For Honor Season 3 Live Event: Grudge & Glory Reveal on August 12th starting at 7 PM BST. The best international players will compete in 1v1 duel tournaments. Viewers will also have the first chance to see exclusive live gameplay of the new Heroes and maps coming in Season 3.
