If you ever wanted to experience the life of Deadpool in the first person, your chance is coming soon. Marvel has announced that the anti-hero is coming to Marvel Powers United VR.

Along with the announcement, Marvel released a trailer of Deadpool in action. It shows off Deadpool doing typical Deadpool things, such as kicking his feet up on a desk, slicing enemies with his sword, and shouting a variety of funny one-liners at his enemies. You can check out the trailer for yourself below.

The short glimpse of the trailer also showed off Deadpool’s typical trademark, the comic book style text bubbles will appear in the game. You’ll get “POW” and “HEADSHOT” popping up while you fight.

While it seems strange that you’ll be hearing Deadpool yell out his typical jokes while you control him in first-person VR, he seems like he will be a great addition to the game. Three other heroes have been announced alongside him: Captain Marvel, the Hulk, and Rocket Raccoon. You can read more about them and the game here.

When Can I Get It?

Marvel Powers United VR will be a cooperative virtual reality game. It is currently slated for release sometime in 2018 and will be exclusive to the Oculus Rift.
