It looks like gamers are taking a journey back to irradiated Russia. The next installment in 4A Game’s post-apocalyptic Metro franchise was revealed today during Microsoft’s E3 keynote, welcoming gamers into the perilous world of Metro Exodus. Check out this beautiful and harrowing trailer, which showcases the ever-present danger players will encounter in this first-person adventure title.

Microsoft was quick to note that this demo was in-engine, and running on their newly-revealed Xbox One X. What platforms Exodus will release on, and whether it will have such striking visuals when it releases in 2018, remains to be seen. Regardless, fans of 2013’s Metro: Last Light will have plenty to look forward to.
