Monster Hunter XX (Double-Cross) is making its way to the Nintendo Switch! Capcom confirmed this on the official Monster Hunter Japanese website and on the @MHX_Capcom Twitter account, but provided no other details. Instead, additional details and a release date for Japan will be revealed during the Monster Hunter Championship livestream this coming weekend. Monster Hunter XX is an expanded remake of Monster Hunter Generations, which was released for 3DS in Japan Novemeber 2015 and almost a year later in July for the west. Though there has been no confirmation for a remake on the Switch in the west, fans may want to take advantage of the fact that the Nintendo Switch is not region locked. So if you’re dying to play Monster Hunter XX as soon as it comes out, it should be no problem. Nintendo plans to announce details for upcoming Switch titles in its “Nintendo Spotlight” at E3 on June 13th 12PM EST/9AM PST. Gamer Assault Weekly will provide more details as they become available.
