Playdead, the developer of critically acclaimed indie hits like Limbo and INSIDE, are hard at work on a brand new project. A quick tease went up on Twitter today. A concept image showed what Playdead’s founder Arnt Jensen and the team have been up to. The image reveals a burning object falling from the sky, like a meteor or a crash-landing spaceship. A character in some kind of spacesuit watches the trail in the sky. Thanks for your warm reception of INSIDE. Since release, Playdead founder Arnt Jensen and the team have been working on the next adventure. pic.twitter.com/RfejnH39mR — Playdead (@Playdead) January 20, 2017 Unfortunately, they didn’t leave many hints to go on. Their latest teaser looks atmospheric and uses darker color palettes, like what we’ve seen in their previous projects. Knowing them, this brand new project will perhaps be just as stylized and emotionally driven as its predecessors, Limbo and INSIDE. We’ll hopefully learn more details about this title in the future.
