In three days, the post-apocalyptic party-based RPG Wasteland 3 recently reached an astounding $2.75 million crowdfunding goal on Fig. Wasteland 3 repeats the crowdfunding success of the 2012 Kickstarter to Wasteland 2, which met its goal of $900,000 in two days. According to Fig, about $2.1 million of the funds come from investments and over $675,000 has been contributed from backer pledges.

Wasteland 3 will likely continue to see a successful crowdfunding campaign. After meeting their initial goals, the developer InXile unveiled new stretch goals. Additional crowdfunding will add more Ranger customization, a car companion (Codename: Morningstar), and a customizable Ranger squad insignia.

Besides backer crowdfunding, there are additional ways to contribute to the Wasteland 3 Fig campaign.

These include:

  • Following InXile on Twitter and retweeting the Wasteland 3announcement
  • Liking the official Wasteland Facebook page as well as the Wasteland 3 announcement
  • Sending InXile Wasteland cosplay pictures
  • Showing off Wasteland fan art to InXile
After meeting eight of these goals, Wasteland‘s infamous mob boss Faran Brygo will make a cameo appearance in Wasteland 3

Wasteland 3‘s Fig campaign ends on November 3rd.  If you’d like to check the Fig campaign out, here’s where you can back them.
