Fans have been amazed by the gameplay already released for Final Fantasy XV, that is set to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30th.  Until now it was thought that Noctis, the crown prince of Lucis, was the only playable character in the game.  This will all change with the addition of DLC that allow you to play as Prompto, Ignis, and Gladiolus.  The DLC also includes new episodes, items, and an expansion pack that does not yet have any details but is promised to change the way you play the game.

The details below were released on the Final Fantasy XV page on Square Enix’s site and translated by Siliconera:

  • DLC1 – FFXV Booster Pack: Will help you get powerful weapons that will help out in battle.
  • DLC2 – FFXV Episode Gladiolus: An original episode that focuses on Noctis’ friend Gladiolus. The episode makes him a playable character, allowing you to control Gladiolus.
  • DLC3 – FFXV Episode Holiday Pack: Includes a splendid item pack to make your game more gorgeous.
  •  DLC4 – FFXV Episode Ignis: An original episode that focuses on Noctis’ friend Ignis. The episode makes him a playable character, allowing you to control Ignis.
  • DLC5 – FFXV Episode Prompto: An original episode that focuses on Noctis’ friend Prompto. The episode makes him a playable character, allowing you to control Prompto.
  • FFXV Expansion Pack: An expansion pack that makes it possible to enjoy a completely new way to play Final Fantasy XV.
