CLG Red, Counter Logic Gaming’s all-female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup, has finally completed their roster with the acquisition of Klaudia “klaudia” Beczkiewicz, the organization announced Wednesday.

The news comes approximately three months after Catherine “CAth” Leroux took her leave from CLG due to an inability to work on issues that affected the team’s performance and synergy, as well as a simple desire to return home to her friends and family. Immediately, the team opened applications to those who met their prerequisites so they could fill the empty role as soon as possible.

While she wasn’t an official member of the roster until now, klaudia has been playing with CLG Red for several weeks, and has played with members of CLG Red in the past. In the video announcement released by Counter Logic Gaming, klaudia said that she had played with Benita “beNITA” Novshadian on Team Karma. With her designated as their fifth player, the team was able to place third in the Northern Arena 2016 qualifier in late July.

“I’m so excited to have the opportunity to play with CLG red,” said klaudia in her statement, “We all share the same goals and have a similar mindset when it comes to CS. With great passion and determination, I only expect to get better results with the girls!”

Additionally, Counter Logic Gaming has signed on Erik “dabears” Stromberg as the team’s head coach. Best known for his time spent on the Counter-Strike 1.6 teams that were fielded by teams such as Evil Geniuses and compLexity Gaming, he has most recently been casting for the ESL Pro League. Dabears also briefly played Source competitively with Chicago Chimera, but his career as a player was mostly left in 1.6.

In a statement posted to the CLG press release, dabears shed light on his reasoning for delving into coaching by explaining that his passion for Counter-Strike extends beyond just casting, and that he feels that his fifteen years of experience in the scene can greatly benefit CLG Red.

“Over the years of winning championships, tournaments, and matches, I feel like CLG Red can benefit from my knowledge and wisdom,” said dabears, “The goal for this team is to dominate all the female circuits, international tournaments, whatever there is that you want to throw at us – we want to be number one and the best.”
