BioShock: The Collection‘s release is only a month away, so 2K has released a video comparing the remastered version of the first game with the Xbox 360 original. You can see it for yourself in the video below.

The video mostly shows off the first BioShock‘s opening scenes in both their original and remastered forms. Starting from the plane ride and crash, swimming towards the lighthouse surrounded by fire, then diving into the inky depths of the ocean, and finally arriving at Rapture. The video then ends with a montage of scenes and gameplay from all three BioShock games. The trailer was release to show us a sharper-looking version of the first game.

BioShock: The Collection features remastered versions of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite and all of their single-player DLC. ‘Single-player DLC’ needs to be highlighted here because BioShock 2‘s multiplayer is not included.

The game releases on September 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as a standalone product, while those on PC who already own the games will receive upgraded versions for free.
