Team Dignitas has signed Emil “Magiskb0Y” Reif to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup, according to a press release posted to the organization’s official website.

Hailing from Denmark, Magiskb0Y began his career just a little over a year ago with 123team. He later went on to play for stfuNerd and before finally settling in with SK Gaming in October as a substitute rifler. By December he was moved to the starting lineup until SK Gaming made the decision to drop their entire Counter-Strike roster in June to replace it with Luminosity Gaming’s former lineup. Magiskb0Y would go on to play on Team X alongside Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, who placed thirteenth at ELEAGUE Season 1.

“I believe that they [Team Dignitas] need a final push to be able to do so [make top 8 at a Major] and I am confident that I am the one to help them achieve that,” said Magiskb0Y in his statement, “I am so thankful to be given this opportunity from Team Dignitas and I look forward to proving myself as one of the top players in the world.”

Magisb0Y will make his debut with Team Dignitas at POWER LAN in Denmark at the end of August.

Stepping down from the roster is Jesper “tenzki” Mikalski, who joined the organization in October of 2015 after spending a year being bounced between teams that he didn’t quite mesh with. As of yet he has not commented on the roster change, and it is unclear whether or not he will continue to find a new team or if he will step away from the competitive Counter-Strike scene after four years of professional play.
