During Nintendo’s Treehouse Live stream from E3, they revealed new details about pokemon_go_defending_gym_screenshotPokémon Go including a more specific release window than it offered previously.

This new augmented-reality-Pokémon-walking-around-your-neighborhood game from Niantic Labs is due out this July, Nintendo said at E3. Pokémon Go has been available in beta around the world for some time, and a beta test began recently in the US. The E3 presentation showed a lot of how the app/game works. Including how to catch Pokémon and how the map works.

The free-to-play game’s release will be accompanied by the release of a physical accessory you can purchase from many retailers. Pokémon Go Plus will be a clip-on attachment that you can choose to wear as a wristband or clip on to your person. It allows you to play without looking at your phone by pressing a button on it to capture a nearby screenshot_2-768Pokémon when it vibrates. The ball in the middle also glows different colors so you know wether or not you caught said Pokémon. This wrist privilege will cost fans $35. It is also super snazzy looking.

You can watch the whole Nintendo Treehouse Live E3 presentation of Pokémon Go below. It’s about 45 minutes but it shows all the details that fans need to see. Especially if you missed signing up for the beta.
