For the second time in as many months, Team Spirit has revealed a number of changes to their Dota 2 lineup, removing Ilya “Illidan” Pivcaev and Andrey “ALWAYSWANNAFLY” Bondarenko to replace them with Alexander “XBOCT” Dashkevich and Andry “Ghostik” Kafyk.

The news comes just a day after Fantastic Five announced the departure of XBOCT and Ghostik from their roster on Twitter, following their failure to qualify for the Manila Major. Team Spirit has had a similarly difficult time with seeing success, placing 7th-8th at WePlay Dota 2 League Season 3 after losing to Evil Geniuses, and placing 13th-16th at The Shanghai Major.

Ghostik is still a relatively new face to the competitive Dota 2 scene. He was first signed to aSpera in August in 2015, which he left just a couple of weeks later to join Fantastic Five. Despite leaving Fantastic Five in January for RoX, he returned in late March as their offlaner and has competed in almost all of his tournaments under their name.

XBOCT is a little more well-known than his teammate, having joined the scene in 2009 under Planet-X. The carry is best known for the five years he spent with Natus Vincere as their carry, going on to take first place at The International 2011, and second at The International 2012 and 2013. XBOCT would later leave to join Team Empire for a few short months before leaving for Fantastic Five, and now Team Spirit.

The current Team Spirit lineup is as follows:

Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov
Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko
Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk
Artur “Goblak” Kostenko
Alexander “XBOCT” Dashkevich
