Justin “just9n” Ortiz and Samuel “SileNt” Portillo have been removed from the NRG eSports Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup, the players announced Tuesday evening.

Both players formed the current roster under the name Ex-Method, which was founded when Method’s CS:GO lineup fell apart in January. They were signed by NRG eSports shortly after the roster’s formation, but now it seems that the organization is looking to make changes following their 5th-6th place finish at the Americas Minor Championship 2016 – Cologne.

SileNt and just9n both revealed on Twitter that they were moved to substitute positions on the team, and that the decision was made by management and was out of their hands. NRG has yet to explain what led to their decision to bench the two founding members of their lineup, but promises that updates are on their way.
