Today Nintendo has announced that the 2DS will be receiving a price drop.

The handheld released in 2013 for $130 but will now be available for $80 beginning on Friday, May 20. The price cut will apply to all of the systems including those that are part of bundles. In addition to the price drop Nintendo revealed for games that will be available for only $19.99 including Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Yoshi’s New Island, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D and Mario Party Island Tour. 

Nintendo also revealed two new games that will arrive later this year. Style Savvy: Fashion Forward which will release on August 19 and Disney Magical World 2 which will be available on October 14.
