Remember when arcades were in full swing? When you’d walk in with a roll of quarters with your friends, determined to beat the high score of the illustrious ‘BUTT’, and replace his cursed inicials with your own. Soft drinks in hand, your friends huddled close behind you, breathing excitement down your neck as you slipped the first quarter in, run your sweaty palms down the sides of your jeans, and begin your quest. Well good news, it no longer takes quarters, and instead of an arcade joystick and buttons that always seemed to have been mashed into the wood of the machine, you have your own controller.

Featuring HD resolutions Pac-Man, Galaga, Ms. Pac-Man, and Dig Dug will all but available on Playstaion 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam on April 20. Also, and Arcade Game Series 3-in-1 pack with also be available, which will include Pac-Man, Galaga, and Dig Dug.

Having recently released Dark Souls III, it’s nice to see that Namco hasn’t forgotten where it began, and are happy to remind players where gaming got its roots, as well as show us where it’s going.
