Obsidian Entertainment, the studio that brought us games like Fallout: New Vegas and South Park: The Stick of Truth, has announced a new role-playing game, that is slated for PC, titled Tyranny. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The game is set in an “original fantasy world where a brutal clash between good and evil has taken place–and evil emerged triumphant.” With this game’s non-linear gameplay, players will have to make “difficult, morally unclear decisions.”

The game takes place after the evil forces, led by a character named Kyros the Overlord, have won a huge and grand war, perhaps taking over the world. Players will step into the role of an officer in Kyros’ forces, where they will be able to interact with the populace to inspire loyalty, disgust, or fear as they explore the game’s world.

Tyranny is scheduled to release some time this year, although no official dates were released. However, anyone who is interested can subscribe for more news on the official site for more information.
