Are you on the fence about preordering Far Cry Primal for a certain system? Microsoft has announced a new promotion to help swing you onto their lawn. Anyone who preorders a digital copy of Far Cry Primal on the Xbox One will receive a free copy of Ubisoft’s World War 1 puzzle adventure game Valiant Hearts: The Great War. If you haven’t played Valiant Hearts: The Great War it is well worth the time. Here is the trailer.

This freebie offer was not very highly advertised; it’s mentioned only briefly at the bottom of this blog post from Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb. According to Far Cry Primal’s Xbox product page, once you preorder Far Cry Primal, you should be able to search for Valiant Hearts: The Great War and download it free. However, the cut off date is April 14th.

Everyone who preorders a digital copy of Far Cry Primal for Xbox One also gets the Legend of the Mammoth pack. This includes three extra missions in which you’ll play as a mammoth. Yes, you read that correctly. The description line reads, “Drink from the shaman’s cup to experience life as a mammoth, Use your immense strength to fight for your herd’s survival.” If you pre-order the Apex Addition you will receive the game, Legend of the Mammoth pack (the 3 extra missions), Valiant Hearts: The Great War, the Blood Shasti Club, and 4 enhancement packs.

Far Cry Primal is scheduled to launch on February 23rd for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC edition will be released on the following week on March 1st. Stay Tuned to Gamer Assault Weekly for more information as it is released and for all your gaming needs.
