Team SoloMid has revealed two new additions to their League of Legends roster, Richard “Valkrin” Royer and a high elo Canadian streamer known only as “hi im gosu.”

Valkrin’s League of Legends career began in 2011 when he signed to unRestricted eSports for a short time. He later signed to teams like RFLX Gaming and Falafel Gaming, only to step away from the competitive scene in 2013 when he left COGnitive Gaming. He later became a popular streamer, accruing over 100,000 dedicated followers. He will be an official substitute for Team SoloMid.

“I am delighted to be a part of TSM, a team I have respected since the beginning. I played in the beta with Reginald and Dyrus, and it’s so cool to see how the game and the players have grown over the years. I’m excited to see what the future holds for me and TSM.”

Unlike Valkrin, Gosu is not listed as an official substitute. He’s best known for his livestreaming on Twitch, where he has a following of over 860,000 and has over sixty million channel views.

“I am really grateful for being given the opportunity to work with a brand I’ve respected for so long and I have always loved Doublelift so it’s only natural I team up with TSM now.”

Outside of streaming, Gosu was a substitute for Counter Logic Gaming from 2014 to June of 2015. Team SoloMid expressed an interest in helping him achieve a stronger presence in competitive League of Legends, and he will be available to the team in case of emergencies until then.
