In it’s recent release, Konami has reported it’s financial earnings from the last fiscal quarter. With a large boost adding to it’s gaming business. The growth comes from vast shipments of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Since it’s September release, the 6 million copies of Hideo Kojima’s final Metal Gear title, have shown a 37.5% jump in revenue for the entertainment giant. Although Metal Gear was not the only title release by Konami, other titles where simply meant more for the Japanese market. The spike in revenue led the company to a 62.6% jump in operating profits to $146.6 million for the first nine months of the fiscal year. Konami does however, only show that two games will be released outside of Japan in the upcoming future. -Cory S. | @xboxcory Source | Konami Qaurter Report
