HTC and Valve’s virtual reality headset finally has its price point and release window revealed.

The HTC Vive will set you back $800 and is set to arrive in the month of April. Just for comparison, the Oculus Rift is priced at $600 and will start launching in March.

Vive’s Consumer Edition will ship with the headset, two wireless controllers, two base stations, a link box and a pair of earbuds.

Pre-orders for the virtual reality headset open on February 29 at 7 a.m. PST.

The Vive will come with two games packaged in: Job Simulator and Fantastic Contraption. More games are expected to be announced at the Game Developers Conference in March. Games for the HTC Vive will be released through Valve’s Steam platform on the PC.
