In a rather cryptic and abrupt Facebook post, Zebastian “zbM” Molinder has announced that he is stepping down from his team manager position in G2 Esports.

I’m leaving G2 as a manager, i dont belive in the leadership and the Core values. Thank you for the time in G2 and good luck in the future.

The announcement went up shortly before G2 went 0-2 in their first match of the StarLadder I-League StarSeries XIV finals, which was an uncharacteristically poor performance from the team. While vague, it’s clear from the tone and timing of the post that the decision stems from a falling out with zbM and organization’s staff.

It is unclear as to whether or not the decision is immediate. Neither G2 Esports nor any of the individual players on the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team have acknowledged the announcement so far.
