Microsoft has announced that Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, which is a single player story expansion for Rise of the Tomb Raider, will release on January 26.

The new expansion is said to offer “hours” of new gameplay while Lara fights brand new enemies and explores a new tomb.

“This adventure expands the story of the main campaign with Lara facing deadly new adversaries, exploring a new puzzle-filled tomb, and solving a decades old mystery, all culminating in a showdown with an ancient and mythic evil. Includes a new outfit, and a new bow.”

While the expansion will be available on that date for the Xbox One, it has not been revealed when it will become available for the PC version of the game which releases just two days later on January 28.

Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch is included in the $29.99 season pass. This marks the second piece of content to come to season pass holders, as last month they received Endurance Mode. Endurance Mode adds in a survival aspect as players must monitor Lara’s warmth and use resources to see how long they can survive the harsh elements on the wild. The third major piece of DLC is expected at some point later this year and will be titled Cold Darkness Awakened.
