After many leaks, Activision has official revealed fan’s first look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. The first trailer for the game, which is being developed by the studio who brought you Bayonetta, Platinum Games, is packed with action and littered with classic TMNT characters. Watch below.

The trailer starts with a view of the Manhattan skyline, along with voice over from the Turtles’ main arch rival, The Shredder (of whom, we get a short peek at). His deep voice narrates the progression “For years, we’ve been hiding in the shadows…Observing the city and biding our time. When dawn breaks tomorrow, the city will awaken to new rulers.”

Although major details haven’t yet been released, It appears this game will tell the story of the Foot Clan’s assault on New York City and the ongoing clash between the Turtles and the Foot. The trailer also offers glimpses at other iconic baddies such as Bebop, Rocksteady, and the cyborg shark Aragon. The trailer also shows some great team-up power moves between the Turtles.
