Update: It has been announced that Millenium’s Charly “Djoko” Guillard will be temporarily playing with Unicorns of Love. The team now has a full roster to compete in the EU LCS.

Original story:

It appears that Unicorns of Love is experiencing a problem that continues to haunt and plague competitive gamers, and that’s visa complications.

Danil “Diamondprox” Reshetnikov has been announced to not be taking part in week 3 of the European LCS due to being unable to secure himself a visa with the German Embassy. Unicorns of Love states that, even with the assistance from Riot Games and an agency that specializes in visas, it’s too difficult to pinpoint exactly how one should classify a professional gamer on that kind of paperwork.

“The status of pro-gamer is hard to identify for governments, between “artist”, “performer”, “sportsman”, “technician”… and the German law has currently no answer for a Russian esport player.”

As a result, the team will be looking into acquiring a replacement for their jungler that will be able to compete with Unicorns of Love in the EU LCS.
