The first expansion for Rainbow Six Siege has been delayed.

I know what you’re thinking, “great, another delay.” Luckily for you this delay is not so substantial as the DLC will be available on February 2. The expansion was originally scheduled to release in January.

Operation Black Ice will include a new map, weapon skins, and two DLC characters as well as “gameplay upgrades.” Specifics around what these upgrades include have not been specified.

The map will be available free to all players, the DLC how can be purchased individually or as part of the Season Pass which is priced at $30. If you purchase the Season Pass you will have access to the DLC one week prior to everyone else who purchases the contend individually.

Rainbow Six Siege is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you are new to the game take a look at our Rainbow Six Siege: Operator Tips series here and here. You can also take a look at our review of the game here.
