Supergiant Games the developer of Bastion announced that Transistor, it’s second made game, reached a sales milestone of over one million since it’s 2014 release on PlayStation 4 and PC. Supergiant says in a blog post, “We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to stick together as a team and with any luck keep making the kinds of games that resonate with you for a long time to come.” Meanwhile Bastion, the first game created by Supergiant, has sold over 3 million copies. “Word-of-mouth is what kept Bastion going for way, way longer than we could have imagined, and it’s what’s kept Transistor going strong, too,” Greg Kasavin (creative director) said. With this in mind, Supergiant clearly knows what they’re doing, and are excited to continue bringing us more content as the numbers have shown. Source
