The little game that could, Mighty No. 9, that rose from a Kickstarter idea (from the Mega Man Legend, Keiji Inane) to a full fledged console release, just graced the PlayStation Blog with a hilarious new trailer and explanation of some of its game modes.

The new trailer shows off some of the new features and game modes that fans will be playing in Mighty No. 9.

  • Boss Rush mode – Where players will tackle all the Mighty bosses back-to-back.
  • Challenge mode – You will be facing unique challenge levels designed to test your 2D side-scrolling skills.
  • Maniac mode – Players enter the game in an insanely hard one-hit death version…play at your own risk!
  • Co-Op Challenge mode – specific challenge levels as Beck and Call using their unique abilities to defeat the enemies and finish the level
  • Online Race Battle mode – battle it out online in a race through the main levels battling your opponent to get the highest score

Mighty No. 9 is due to be released on February 9th, 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC. Stay Tuned here at Gamer Assault Weekly for all your gaming needs
