The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta is coming sooner than most people had expected. Sony announced today that the beta will begin tomorrow, December 3rd. The part where it’s not totally a gift is where it was previously expected to begin on December 4th.

Here is some of Uncharted 4‘s multiplayer beta captured during Naughty Dogs’ lifestream on December 1st:

The news dropped from PlayStation Europe’s official Twitter account, which also specifies that the beta will be available starting at 9 AM PST/12 PM EST. The beta is scheduled to end on December 13th, however, it is still unclear if that will be the case since players are getting a full, extra day for the start-date.

The Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta client is around 7 GB, which is pretty standard now for a beta size. To access the beta, you’ll need to have purchased Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. As of yet, Sony has not announced any other ways to get in or if it was going to be open to everyone.

According to online magazine DualShockers, the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta comes with two maps and one mode. The beta represents a small piece of what will be offered in the full game. During the above video, the guys at Naughty Dog just really want you to give it a good play though since they “spent a lot of time on it“.  In addition, your progress in the beta will not carry forward into the game so don’t worry about getting he highest levels or perfect K/D ratio just yet. You will, however, be able to play with some of the customization, which will be fun even if it doesn’t carry over.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches in March 2016 exclusively for PlayStation 4. We may learn more about it soon, possibly during The Game Awards on Thursday or PlayStation Experience this coming weekend. Both of which you can watch directly here at Gamer Assault Weekly.
