Ubisoft Nordic tweeted the status update of the awaited game this morning that Rainbow Six Siege has gone gold. “Going Gold” means the game is in a state which is ready to be published.

This is great news for fans as the game was delayed once to ensure proper development and bug fixes were in place. The closed beta for Siege took place from September 24 and was extended twice due to both player demand for more time, as well as the opportunity to find further bugs and get the game ready for launch on December 1, 2015. There was no mention about any details besides that the team has determined they are ready for release. A full month in advance of the release date is a very good sign for Ubisoft Nordic, as well as gamers.

Rainbow Six Siege will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on December 1.
