Avalance Studios released a new ‘story mode’ trailer for Just Cause 3 on the PlayStation Blog. It has exactly what fans of this series is looking for. Explosions.

In Just Cause 3‘s story mode, Rico comes back to save his sick homeland, Medici, from the rule of the dictator and manic General Di Ravello.  Rico will not only have to free the people of Medici and beat Di Ravello, but also protect his friends. So, the story mode will be some character multi-tasking.

Showing off the story mode for Just Cause 3 was so there there was a reason behind the chaos. Instead of, well, ‘Just Cause’, as an excuse. Giving the Rico a reason to come back home to blow stuff up makes more sense than just shipping him there.

The Just Cause games are known for their absolute absurdness for making things explode, driving cars off mountains, parachuting off buildings, shooting, making things explode, flying planes and helicopters, riding on top of cars while shooting, huge sandbox game, grappling to vehicles and destroying them, and making things explode, and it looks like Just Cause 3 will have no shortage of that.

Just Cause 3 is due out December 1st on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Stay Tunes to Gamer Assault Weekly for all your gaming needs.
