Nordic Games and developer Gunfire Games have released an official release date for Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and it’s just in time for Halloween. Now you can play as Death, the coolest of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, all over again (or for the first time) in gorgeous 1080p.

Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition  will allow players to not only play the original game in HD but also players will be able to access all of the games DLC. This includes: the Maker Armour set, The Abyssal Forge, Angel of Death, Fletcher’s Crow Hammer, Van Der Schmash Hammer, The Demon Lord Belial, Death Rides, Rusanov’s Axe, Deadly Despair, Shadow of Death, Mortis Pack,  Mace Maximus, and Argul’s Tomb.

The game went through a lot of tweaks and polishing and the developers On Gunfire Games’ blog they stated,

“This isn’t a simple port, We’ve put a lot of time to improve both the visuals and gameplay to make it on par with current releases. It’s been fun adding more polish to a game that is near and dear to our hearts.”
