EA has it’s closed Alpha release of the game Star Wars Battlefront going on right now and some PC players got to play. They also released about 10 minutes of gameplay on YouTube and the game looks out of this world.

The crisp visuals and smooth gameplay on display is running the huge, 20v20 Walker Assault gameplay mode on the planet Hoth. The near 10-minute video shows off the game’s weapon selection menus, lots of third-person shooting, and both sides of the fight. The shooting aspect seems to be mostly “firing from the hip” but that could also be the players personal choice because its just the view from his screen.

Even if you weren’t part of the Alpha testing, don’t worry, there will be an open Beta testing for all consoles. Remember to visit the official EA website to sign up for it. The Beta will let you test the (shown above in the video) Walker Assault on Hoth, a Survival mission set on the planet Tatooine, and a newly announced game called Drop Zone.

Star Wars Battlefront is due to be released November 17th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Stay Tuned here at Gamer Assault Weekly for all your gaming needs and May the Force be with You!
