When most people think about amusement parks they tend to have good feelings about them. Rides and games that put huge smiles on your faces. Food and prizes galore as you run through the grounds. You picture the lights flashing, sounds of laughter, happy screams, thrilling smells, and just a huge sense of wonderment.

The Park, is not that. This new, experimental horror game is planned for October and is clearly the opposite of what people perceive as an amusement park.

The Park is a game developed by Funcom, set in an amusement park where a dark and sinister secret is just waiting to be uncovered. The main character Lorraine takes her son Callum to the park expecting good food, balloons, games, rides, and an all around wonderful day with her loving child. But the good times can’t last forever and things descend into a hellish nightmare as Callum goes missing.

The Park will be released for PC in October 2015. Remember to stay tuned here at Gamer Assault Weekly for all your gaming needs.
