For Star Wars fans that always thought that the space battles were the best part of the movie, you will not be left out of Star Wars Battlefront. During Gamescom, EA showed just one of the aspects of SWB and it is a multiplayer dogfight called Fighter Squadron Mode. Now you and you friends can play as rebels or empire and take each other down in X-Wings and A-Wings and Tie Fighters and Tie Interceptors.

The gameplay sample battle took place over Sullust, a rocky and liquid magma covered planet. An Imperial Shuttle took off from the surface, and our hero Rebel fighters were called in to stop it. With dazzling speeds, high intensity fighting, and great effects, Fighter Squadron lets you engage in aerial battles with up to 20 players with AI-controlled ships joining in on the fight. It seems like an endless battle in the sky above.

Wasn’t it cool when the Millenium Falcon and Slave-1 ships came out of nowhere? Yeah it was. You can say it.
Star Wars Battlefront goes on sale November 17th on PlayStation 4, PC,  Xbox One. If you want to see More you can always check out EA’s Star Wars Battlefront website and stay tuned to Gamer Assault Weekly for all your Star Wars games needs.

May the Force be with you all!
