Konami has announced that the PC release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been moved up.

The PC version of the game was originally scheduled to release on September 15 while the console versions would release on September 1. That is no longer the case as the PC version will now release alongside the console versions on September 1.

Some news regarding Metal Gear Online has also been released. Unfortunately, this multiplayer mode wont be available on release. Metal Gear Online will be coming to consoles on October 6 and PC players will have to wait until January of 2016. However, the game will release with some online functionality at launch, as the Forward Operating Bases mode will be available.
