It seems some people are hitting a snag while trying to download and install the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta on PlayStation 4. But don’t worry, the possible fix is super easy.

Just download the 2.57 firmware update from Sony and you should be good to go. Turns out the 12 GB beta, and small update file,  are not compatible with version 2.55 and need the recent update to install properly.

The beta went live last night, slightly earlier than its planned start date, and runs through Sunday, August 23rd.

Black Ops 3, Activision and Treyarch’s upcoming entry in the long standing Call of Duty series, releases November 6th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
