If you’ve made plans with friends to tackle Destiny’s next raid, get ready to reschedule. The popular shooter’s next expansion The Taken King will release as expected on September 15th, just without the King’s Fall raid. “It’s not going to be available on day one,” confirmed director Luke Smith to IGN. The reason behind the delay of what is arguably the best aspect of the shooter isn’t clear, but Smith did stress that there is a plan in place and promised that,“… people who are excited about the raid will know when it’s time to take time off work. We’ll give em’ a heads up.” On the heels of a raid-less House of Wolves, it seems odd for Bungie to announce The Taken King as raid free until a later date so close to its launch. Now that this particular piece of end-game content will be absent day one, do you plan on holding off on picking up the expansion? Let us know!
