Deep Silver has announced that Wasteland 2 will be releasing for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 13.

This new release of the game will come as a director’s cut that gives it a “complete overhaul.” The game will feature a new lighting system along with improved environments, textures, and character models. The game also includes new voice-overs and weapon sounds.

Wasteland 2‘s UI and controls have been updated for the console version as well to be able to support controllers. If you’re a PC Wasteland 2 player, don’t worry, you haven’t been left out in the cold. A Game of the Year Edition upgrade with all of these new features will be coming your way free of charge.
