As unfortunate fate would have it for those of us still playing Dragon Age: Inquisition on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, BioWare has confirmed that they are no longer making DLC content for either of the last-gen consoles.

The news came first on Dragon Age’s official blog where they stated “all future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One only.”

BioWare is attempting to move players into the direction of the newer console versions and is offering the ability to export save files to them. “We designed our Save Importer feature to help make the transition to a new console as easy as possible,” the blog explained.

Creative director Mike Laidlaw had hinted that more story DLC will be seen in the future, though has stated on twitter he is not sure what it’d be about yet.
