Critically acclaimed indie game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is being released digitally for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 12.

The game will also see a physical release in Europe on September 4, although there are no announcements for a physical release State-side.

The updated version of the game will come with some extras including director’s commentary, a soundtrack, and art galleries.

The game originally released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC back in 2013 and received much praise upon its release. The game has you simultaneously control two brothers (one with each joystick on the gamepad) who are in search of the Tree of Life so they can save their sick father.

A mobile version of the game is also in development for iOS, Android and Windows.
