With GDC well on its way, a lot of companies are showing off their new toys. Among them was Valve announcing their partnership with HTC to bring their own VR headset, Vive.

Like most developers do, they had a version out for antendees to demo along with a few games. Among the games was a demo for Portal, which hit the rumor mill as signs that Portal 3 was in the works.

Doug Lombardi, director of marketing for Valve, was quick to dismiss the claims, stating that the game was simply a demo and nothing more.

While Valve may have several projects in the work with the announcement of a new source engine, Steam Link and other tools, fans will have to wait a bit longer for any concrete information on release titles for the time being.
