Rumors spread early this month as an image appeared on the NeoGAF forum showing the Xbox 360 version of Mortal Kombat X with a release date of June 30. This date is two months after it’s original expected release of April 14th.

Warner Bros. has confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game has been delayed until the summer. In a statement Warner Bros. said,

“Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer.”

The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game are still expected to release on April 14.
